Our Vision for The Old SteamPacket

Our redevelopment of the Old Steampacket respects its rich legacy.  Just as the site once supported the movement of goods, produced local food and offered rooms for weary travellers, our vision is to bring these historic uses back to life—reimagined for a modern Nelligen.

We aim to create a place that:

• Celebrates its past providing small goods
• Revives the tradition of local food and produce,
• Provides warm, character-filled accommodation, and
• Restores the Old Steampacket as a true heart of the village once again.

By honouring its history while creating something contemporary, we’re ensuring the Old Steampacket remains a landmark where stories continue to be made for another century or two.
